As travelers we have to be flexible to changes. The May Great Island Travel Club time and place has changed.  The May meeting is in the Stonebridge Club House. The meeting is on a Tuesday and a different time. We are excited that Steve Batjiaka from AMA Waterways will be the presenter. He has been very helpful to The Great Island Travel Club offering unique promotions and a wealth of travel information. 

If you have ever been interested in a European Christmas Market River Cruise a group trip has been planned for December of 2024 on AMA Siena. The AMA Siena is a 156-passenger ship that was debuted in 2021. 
This trip is a wonderful opportunity to experience the deep-rooted holiday traditions of Europe at its most festive time of year and get caught up in the magic of the holidays with visits to some of the world’s most timeless Christmas Markets.

We are currently working on additional group trips with AMA Waterways. Details on the Christmas Market group trip and other cruises will be presented at the May 23rd meeting.  

AMA Water is currently offering a unique promotion of free pre or post on select cruises.  This is an amazing savings. There maybe adventure awaiting you with some great savings.  

AMA Waterways has an exceptional program for past guest and payment terms.

This will be an informative meeting. Wendy Cushing, Cruise Planners, will be providing her yummy goodies and raffle items. There will be a sign-up sheet at the Overlook Clubhouse. However, with the ongoing construction at the club house, many people are not going to the clubhouse. If you are not able to sign up, still come to the meeting.  

Friends are encouraged and welcome to join us at all meeting and trips. Any personal incentives that you have, for example, past guest incentives, are still included in Travel Club special promotions! We typically ask that people sign up so that we can have adequate seating. With the ongoing work at the Overlook Clubhouse, it may be difficult to sign up. Attend even if you are unable to sign up.

The intent of the Travel Club is to provide information, resources and financial benefits to all residents seeking to make travel plans at any time. All discounts for group travel is shared equally amongst travelers
