Package Delivery Mistake by UniUni Delivery
Posted on May 12th, 2026
Jessica has been made aware that the delivery company, UniUni Delivery, has been leaving packages inside the Mint Sprig mail hut rather than delivering them directly to residents’ homes. Packages are being left on the counter unsecured, including for residents who do not receive mail at that location. To help prevent packages from being lost or misplaced, she is checking the mail hut daily and bringing any unattended packages to the Clubhouse for safekeeping. Residents will be notified if a package belonging to them has been brought to the Clubhouse for pickup.

CPR, AED (Defibrillator), First Aid Training
Saturday, May 30th
The Great Island Board of Directors in coordination with the Great Island Sports Association will be offering CPR, Defibrillator, and First Aid Training on May 30, 2026 at 9 AM in the ballroom.
This training program is being offered at a cost of $10.00 per participant. Space is limited to the first 20 residents, limited to 1 person per household. The goal is to have as many households as possible with one person trained in CPR and AED operation on Great Island.
The CPR, AED and First Aid combination training program helps students develop the knowledge, skills and the confidence to respond to a medical emergency. Course topics will include: role of the first aid provider; protecting yourself; sudden cardiac arrest; caring for cardiac arrest (CPR); using an AED machine; multiple provider approach to CPR.
Just learning the basics of CPR and how to utilize a defibrillator machine can save a life! You should not hesitate to learn these skills. Defibrillator machines are very user-friendly. Recently the HOA purchased two new defibrillator machines. One is located in the hallway across from the craft room and the other is located across from the fitness center.
The signup will be on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 9 AM by email (see Details and Contact info.)
