Welcome to Great Island at the Pinehills! We are a community of 600 homes, specially designed for active adults who are 55 and older. Our website is your one-stop-shop for all things Great Island. Here, you will find information about our neighborhood, clubs, activities, rules and regulations, and the resources available to our residents in our clubhouse.
As part of the larger Pinehills community, our residents have access to a wide range of amenities including miles of walking trails, tennis and bocce courts, exercise rooms, pools, ponds and golf. There are at least a dozen golf courses within a 30-40 minutes drive and two right across the street. All of these are set in an idyllic woodland retreat, making Great Island the perfect place for active adults to call home.

Latest News
Clubhouse Parking Lot Closures Next Week

Next week, the Clubhouse parking lot will be seal coated and line-striped. This work will require temporary closures of different sections of the parking lot.
Monday and Tuesday (9/14-9/15): The main lot, including the sections directly in front of the Clubhouse, will be closed for sealcoating. Anyone visiting the Clubhouse should park in the smaller lot by the mailroom.
Wednesday and Thursday (9/16-9/17): The smaller lot by the mailroom will be closed for sealcoating. All residents and Clubhouse visitor should park in the main lot.
Please be aware that this work will affect vehicle access to Great Island Pond.
Aquafit Fall Session

Sign ups are now open for the Fall Session of Aquafit. Classes begin September 8, and are available for both men and women and are from 10:30 - 11:30 on Mondays and Thursdays. See flyer for more info.

Vaccine Clinic

These workshops are great for beginners and takes place in the Overlook Clubhouse Craft Room. All materials are included. No experience necessary. Cost is $30 per person and checks are payable to Debra Birtwell. Space is limited to 10 people.
