Signups are taking place through August 1st by sending the following information to GISAbocce@gmail.com

Players may register as an individual, a pair, as three, four, five or six , seven, or eight players. After signups are concluded, the bocce committee will group individuals, pairs and threesomes into teams of four, five or six if possible.

 

Only four players may compete during a game but all may participate in the match (there are at least two games per match).

 

Afternoon matches will take place on weekdays at 3:00 and 4:30. 

 

League dues are $15 per player. Dues may be paid by check made out to Great Island Sport Assoc. and deposited in the box by the kiosk in the clubhouse lobby.

 

Fall League play will begin on August 24th and continue for 8 weeks, concluding on or about October 16th. 

 

The GI Sports Assoc. Bocce Committee hope all enjoy participating but along with participating comes a responsibility to show up for scheduled matches. The rules only require two members of a team to attend a match. Team captains may also invite other registered players to play as subs on their team. Please consider this if you know you will have conflicts that may require rescheduling of matches.

 

League dues cover the cost of the annual Italian Food Fest and support the fundraising activities of the Great Island Sport Association.
