Our vendor has assured us that only one lane of traffic at a time will be impacted during road repairs. They plan to working on Catch Basins and small patches first, followed by road milling and finally paving. All the impacted roads will be milled first, followed by paving after the milling of all the impacted roads is complete. If they complete scheduled work early on a given day, they will move on to the next scheduled work segment. The expected completion date for all the work is Aug 6th, again weather permitting.

 

The following roads will be milled and paved in this order:

 

Day 1 - Champlain Circle; Great Island from Champlain Circle to the mail hut
Day 2 - Fox Hollow; Little Island from Beaver Dam to Madison Reach
Day 3 - Great Island between the mail hut and Little Island; Southward Trail; Belltree from homes 1 to 17 (approximately)
Day 4 - Little Island from Madison Reach to Great island; Great Island from Little island to Clam Pudding.

 

Obviously driveways will be blocked temporarily when milling or paving equipment passes them, and milled roads are rougher to drive on, so please drive slowly. For everyone's safety, please exercise caution when driving around the workers and the equipment.
